MEET OUR MASSAGE THERAPIST

ROD NELSON, LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST

Rod started his massage therapy journey in 2021 after a stroke that left him severely debilitated. In his journey to relearn to walk, he experienced that outside of Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy was the key to his rehabilitation. It helped him so much, that when he had a chance to go to school, he decided to take what had helped him heal, and give that to other people.

He is an experienced massage therapist with a passion for helping clients achieve restoration and wellness. His expertise in various massage techniques allows him to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals.

Rod has been married for 29 years to his wife Zindra. Together they have 9 children, 2 daughters in law, and 2 grandchildren. They live in Big Lake, WA and attend Inspire Church in Sedro Woolley. He is on the board of two homeschool programs, First Class Skagit County Homeschool Coop and Valley Christian Music & Arts.

WHATCOM COMMUNITY COLLEGE, MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAM

Rod earned his massage certificate through WCC. WCC requires the most

in-class massage hours out of any massage school in Washington State.
